Life After Lightroom

I have now, finally, finished my Lightroom 4 book, and all text and images are at publisher´s hands. It is an update of my Lightroom 3 book and is written up to and including the today published Lightroom 4.1. Sadly this book is printed only in Finnish.

Anyway it is done and I can give again more time to other things in life, including this blog. Meanwhile my Photokina calender has been filling up with 4 days now booked. Most of that time for Canson Infinity.

Strong rumors see Canon introducing their mirrorless system camera in June. It will be "almost as good as DSLRs". More about that later. I did test Canon G1 X many weeks ago. I have my story on it half written. There are a couple of blogs on Olympus E-M5 coming (ETTR etc.) as well as on Olympus new 75mm lens. Images taken with 75mm lens can be published on June 11th which is kind of a schedule there. I have been shooting some with Voigtländer 17,5mm 1:0,95 lens. More about this interesting lens also later on.

LR 4.1 book -- only in Finnish :-(. Well, good for your countrymen.
Have you tested the 75/1.8? Impressions so far (without printing images :-))?

World is full of LR books in English...

I have tried, not tested, Zuiko M. 75/1.8. Still waiting for a lens with final firmware. Before that testing would be waist of time. It really is a gorgeous piece of glass, beautifully made.
